Rémi Mauriege
Research Intern
Rémi Mauriege is an undergraduate exchange student from the Paul Sabatier University who completed his lab-based assignment in April-June 2023.
"I’m Rémi, a French exchange student. I work to cancel fiber-based phase noise. It is a high precision project which requires a lot of patience, meticulousness and improvement reflections.
I am discovering the research environment and its specific way to develop projects. Surrounded by more experienced researchers, I am learning how to implement an optoelectronic circuit to cancel phase noise using couplers, frequency doublers, PID and other devices.
It is a great opportunity for me to be able to learn from a more competent group in a different working environment from that of the classroom, especially in a foreign country. It will allow me to develop many skills and knowledge that I will be able to use in my future projects.”
