Roshan Singh
Research Intern

Roshan Singh is an intern working on computer control systems and software applications for the group. He joined the group in April 2020 and developed a LabVIEW computer control system based on National Instruments hardware which is currently being used to run the iqClock testbed system. He has also developed a secondary replacement computer control system using ARTIQ, a leading edge control system for quantum physics experiments, with bespoke functionalities designed for the unique requirements of the iqClock setup. Aside from his work on control systems, he has an interest in cold atom related software applications, having designed an ANDOR camera control interface to aid in the identification of MOT characteristics.  His current work is focused on PID controllers for optical cavity temperature control and laser intensity stabilisation.
